Chapters 11 and 12 take the theory and reasoning in the previous part of this section and move them toward practice, toward the &amework of a mood-evoking music order.

The station seeking to apply the strategies to be outlined here and in chapter 12 would do best not to use them literally, but rather to think of them as examples of the testing and thinking the station needs to do. The examples provided are not meant to be formulas, but instead should be viewed as the artifacts of research that has only recendy begun, and that must be further refined.
