ABSTRACT
It is necessary to make clear by a second conspicuous example how entirely inaccurate and ill-informed are the criticisms which are now being brought forward, not merely about Hinduism as a religion, but also concerning Indian life. These have often the appear ance of being well documented, but their inaccuracy can easily be demonstrated by those who know the facts. Unfortunately, such knowledge is not always ready to hand. It is also quite impossible to expose each one of them where the number is so great.
