In Chapter 7, I explored the possibility of a new treaty – a Global Convention on Agroecology – aimed at facilitating a revolutionary change in agriculture. Now, in this final chapter of the book, I turn briefly to the concept of sovereignty, and to how it can and should be made more realistic and sophisticated in order to facilitate a change in our form of agriculture.
