ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we explore the nature of a human-centred community and describe what it means to be and learn together through engaging in the life of a learning community. The five key themes of this chapter include:
• value, ethos and principles; • physical environment; • relational environment; • an overall culture of care; • leadership and governance.
