ABSTRACT
T H IS is the story, my fro ward friend, of a pool wherein there were three fine, large fishes.
A party of fishermen passed by the pool and perceived the lurking prey. They therefore hurried to fetch their net. The fishes understood their intention, and were on their guard. One, an intelligent fish, at once resolved to be off, and set forth resolutely on the arduous, unsolicited journey.
