ABSTRACT

Over the centuries, theologians have adamantly debated on the mystery of Christ to grasp the dichotomy between evilness and goodness. At a closer look, the message says that God sent his most loved son to be sacrificed by humanity, as a proof of his immense love and benevolence. At some point, from Adam and Eve on, humankind was bereft by the Fall in a way that threatened its salvation. The problem with this conception of divinity was that God needs to transform his omnipotence into a vulnerable creation in order to repeat the original message which was not correctly understood by humankind. In this vein, Noah’s ark and the myth of Christ’s crucifixion are inextricably intertwined.
