ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the techniques of writing, which include many issues that influence the ease with which our student canwrite and express his ideas the components of the final document proof-reading. Getting their ideas into coherent text can be one of the most difficult tasks for some dyslexic/ SpLD people. One of the common characteristics of dyslexia/ SpLD is that writing is not consistently fluent. There are many issues that make the difference between writing with ease and struggling to produce anything. The chapter lists many forms of writing then discusses components of formal writing. Large reports often start with an executive summary which summarises the major points of the report together with actions that need to be taken.
