ABSTRACT

The book was written in the order in which it appears. First, we wrote the introductory chapters to research and share the context of international education around the world. Then we shared our autobiographies and our working days. We moved on to share our stories of experiencing education as learners and as teachers. At each point, we read each other’s stories and shared these stories with our co-authors. So, the book has been constructed by reading, redrafting and rereading the narratives that we have shared with you. This meant that we had to write collaboratively – we would spend writing days together as a core team reading to each other and finding a quiet space to write, or in Ed’s case to draw.
