ABSTRACT

The Employment Contract Law, No. 20.744, 1974, also known as the Labor Contract Law, sets forth the main conditions of employment that all employment contracts must comply with, and includes provisions prohibiting discrimination among employees on the basis of race, gender, nationality, religion, and age. The law contains a general principle of non-discrimination on grounds such as sex. Court defines moral abuse: There is no specific legislation regarding moral harassment in Argentina. However, in the case of Givone, Julieta Belen v. Aguas Danone S. A. the court defined moral abuse as "any manifestation of abusive conduct, specifically behaviour, words, acts, gestures that cause a damage to the individual's personality, dignity or physical or psychic integrity". The network's objective is to support the creation and consolidation of specific services involved in workplace violence situations and to develop measures to prevent and eliminate such violence.
