ABSTRACT
All times of trial raise us at once to the highest state of which our nature is capable, call out every latent nobleness; our souls rise and triumph, secure in the consciousness of God's union with them, so that while treasuring all earthly things more clearly than ever, we almost feel infinitely above them, living in the Kingdom of Heaven. Most of our failures come from our doubt of His spirit Love. Oh, let us not doubt, but be sure that we may work mighty wonders with it; that not for nothing was any single grain of it cast into our hearts.
