ABSTRACT
One would not willingly be with the people who intensify money panics. I hope I should wait in quiet confidence, though it resulted in loss, rather than be carried away in wild, suspicious hurry, like the crowds who haste to be rich at any risk, and then rush to preserve their money. There is no doubt a medium course, which experience alone can teach, the confidence founded on knowledge and rooted in temperance.
