ABSTRACT
I have had so bright and pleasant a visit to Offley, and have returned with quite wonderful vigour and mirth. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hughes were kindness itself, and, as they were alone, I saw a very great deal of them. Mr. Hughes is really quite charming, that deep, true, undercurrent of earnest faith running perpetually under his beaming sympathy and bright fun are simply delightful.
