ABSTRACT

There lived and dwelt, there lived an old man with his old woman. They had three daughters: Olga, Nadezhda, and Liubov. There were just the three daughters. So they were sitting there one morning, eating their thick kasha porridge and they saw Kotik, the Tom with the Golden Tail, run beneath the window. The oldest one shouted, “Oh, mama, mama, the Tom with the Golden Tail is running there. I’ll go and catch him.”
