ABSTRACT
According to article 7 of the charter, the principal organs of the United Nations include the Economic and Social Council. Such subsidiary organs as may be found necessary may also be established. As it has turned out, many of these subsidiary organs are related to the United Nations through the channel of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
