ABSTRACT
This chapter presents details about the history, structure, staff, priority research, and international cooperation of some institutes of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences. The institutes include Institute of Economics of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, Muminov Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, Guliamov Institute of Archeology of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, Institute of Histoiy of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, Pushkin Institute of Language and Literature of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, Suleimanov Institute of Manuscripts of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, Beruni Institute of Oriental Studies of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences, and Davkaraev Institute of Histoiy, Language, and Literature of the Karakalpak Branch of the Uzbekistani Academy of Sciences. The chapter also provides information on the address, telephone, and director of these institutes.
