ABSTRACT
Today, a woman earns just 74 cents for every dollar a man earns. Achieving equal pay is a major initiative of the U.S. Department of Labor. One of our primary strategies to reduce the gender wage gap between women and men is to increase opportunities for women in nontraditional jobs such as computer repairer, truck driver, and electrician.
