ABSTRACT
Much has been written during and immediately after the occupation about the living conditions of military personnel and their dependents in the occupied countries of Germany and Japan. It is not my intention to repeat the information and material in these books and articles. I intend only to briefly outline the life in Japan of one medic and his family.
