ABSTRACT
Through the intelligence agents, we received reports of epidemics sweeping various villages and cities in North Korea during January and February 1951. These agents were laymen, and they could not identity what the diseases were. They reported considerable unrest among the people, who were dying by the thousands, and emphasized that no medical steps were being taken by the communists to alleviate the suffering of these people.
