Three articles from recent years are worthy of attention. Woodman2 argues for changing the order of lines 28 and 29 and partly also the wording mainly because there is nothing marvellous about a field gradually turning yellow with grain (28) and that incultis is redundant with sentibus. He proposes accordingly lines 28 and 29 to have this form:
