Bährens published this conjecture in the Jahrbücher für Classische Philologie (1887, p. 812). It was not mentioned in the second edition of Ribbeck and was overlooked both by Buscaroli and Pease whose vast knowledge of scholarly contributions one would think would not have missed Bährens' conjecture.
