93Sometimes you probably find it hard to know whether you are experiencing a weak emotion or no emotion at all. How could you decide which it is? There are many emotions including sadness, happiness, anxiety, and anger. Does it seem as if each of these emotions differs in terms of the physiological activity associated with it?

Most people feel anxious or depressed some of the time. If that is true of you, do you wish you could be free of these emotions? If not, in what ways do you think such negative emotions serve useful functions in your life?
