The construction of professional identity through the lens of cultural psychology

This chapter summarizes the scope of this book in terms of the basic principles of the socio-cultural construction of professional identity. Drawing on findings from the underlying study and leaning on the theoretical framework of cultural psychology, it also introduces some preliminary ideas on how the findings could be implemented in an educational context.
