ABSTRACT
The third chapter of a research paper deals with the research method. This method chapter aims to show how the study has been carried out. It includes in great detail the following aspects of the method:
a) explanation of the research design; b) justification for the selected study design based on the theoretical elements
that supported the decision to choose that design; c) procedures used to select the cases; d) procedures used to collect the data; e) cases protocol; f) presentation of the instruments, as well as the procedure for their design and
development; g) presentation of the agreed informed consent; h) procedures for data recording; i) procedures for data analysis and interpretation; j) strategies to ensure the validity and reliability of data; k) chapter summary.
