ABSTRACT
Teachers have been criticized (Callaghan, 1976) because their ex -pupils are not up to the job of work that is demanded of them. Parents expect that the education their children receive will enable them to obtain a good job when they leave school and employers expect that the 'products' of our schools will possess the skills and attitudes that will help them run their businesses profitably.
