ABSTRACT
As described in the textbook, forensic anthropology involves providing information concerning cause and manner of death. From skeletal remains, the only source of data on these two issues involves trauma to bone. Thus, forensic anthropologists must be knowledgeable of the characteristics of trauma on human bone to be able to provide law enforcement information relating to these two factors.
