ABSTRACT
Chapter 16 in the textbook provides information on the types of damage that can occur to bone after death. Although caused by an almost infi nite number of forces, only the most common of these postmortem changes will be the subject of this lab. The fi rst part deals with damage caused during dismemberments, while the second part deals with the host of natural forces that can affect bone.
