ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on four "special doings" as implied in the Angel-Story. It provides an opportunity to understand and appreciate what it means to live out of imagination and hope. The chapter presents the "special doings" of Betty Ford, a former First Lady of the United States of America, Rosa Parks, Mother of the Civil Rights movement, United States of America, Jesus of Nazareth, Carpenter, Preacher, Spiritual Leader, Jerusalem, and Lee Kuan Yew former Prime Minister of Singapore. Betty Ford's natural tendencies towards honesty and candour, and her willingness to be boldly outspoken on women's rights, made her a vocal and openly feminist presence in the White House. In the face of the injustice of the law the intentional leadership of Rosa Parks resided in her desire to stand up for her dignity and engage those who implemented the law in a conversation.
