ABSTRACT
Directors and managers have a great deal of influence over an organisation’s safety performance and culture, but they don’t tend to be the ones that have the accidents. It’s the front-line employees that are most at risk and this is hardly surprising since they are the ones at the sharp end. Therefore, any safety engagement strategy that doesn’t include this group would be fundamentally flawed.
