ABSTRACT
The story of the Garden of Eden is one of the foundation stories of Christian and Jewish cultures, which is often used as a justification for the oppression of women. In my version of this story I look at what might have happened if Adam had accepted responsibility for his actions. It is one of a series of re-tellings and re-visons of myths and traditional tales from a male pro-feminist viewpoint. A commentary indicates sources for some of the less familiar points in my story.
