ABSTRACT

The ability to communicate effectively with employees has a lot to do with your "track record" as a good manager. A bulletin board is another good way to communicate special messages, and will help to keep your employees better informed. Often managers fail to recognize the very important part that employees play in the success of a restaurant, and fail to communicate because they are either too busy or feel too important. One sure way to keep employees on the job is through the development and consistent use of training programs. Employees like to be welcomed and smoothly integrated into the work group. To ensure that your employees receive the raises and promotions that they deserve, you should institute and maintain an EMPLOYEE APPRAISAL PROGRAM. Fostering good employer-employee relationships is an on going management responsibility that holds true regardless of individual organizational structure.
