Hunt, Story of Rimini (1816); article by ?John Gibson Lockhart, Blackwood’s Edinburgh Magazine, III (July 1818), 453-456. The pointing hand (p. 453) was Leigh Hunt’s signature in the Examiner, published every Sunday. Marianne Hunt’s sister, Elizabeth Kent, lived with the Hunt family, and Leigh Hunt was known to admire her. The quotation of the first line of one of Keats’s sonnets (p. 455) was a prelude to the attack on him in the following number of Blackwood’s.
