ABSTRACT

Keats, Lamia [etc.] (1820); British Critic, 2nd Series, XIV (Sept. 1820), 257-264. The reviewer, perhaps having been expostulated with by Keats’s friends or hearing that the young poet was ill, attempts to make amends by praising aspects of the latest volume without, however, renouncing his dislike of far-reaching poetic adjectives and metaphors.
