UNIVERSAL REVIEW; or Chronicle of the Literature of All Nations (1824-25) was a London monthly published by Whittaker that attempted to give equal space to foreign publications. As can be seen from the single review pertinent to these volumes, the Universal Review was a strong Tory voice.
