ABSTRACT
[Byron] English Bards and Scotch Reviewers (1809); Satirist, V (July 1809), 91–92. Perhaps because the Satirist had not yet discovered that Byron was the author and that one of its reviewers was attacked in the poem, it gives the poem the benefit of highly favorable selections from other reviews.
