Byron, The Corsair (1814); Satirist, XIV (March 1814), 246–250. Suddenly the Satirist, perhaps represented by another reviewer, loses patience with Byron and turns against his recent publications. Monsieur Tonson (p. 248) was the title character in a comedy by John Taylor, owner of the Sun newspaper.
