Byron, Vision of Judgment (in Liberal, No. 1)

[Byron, et al.] The Liberal, No. 1 (1822); review by “Jonathan Oldmixon,” Edinburgh [Scots] Magazine, 2nd Series, XI (Nov. 1822), 561-573. This reviewer, probably a resident of Edinburgh and certainly an outside contributor to the magazine, cites and quotes from Queen Mab and claims (p. 565) to have learned of Shelley’s religion from Shelley himself. Scanderberg (p. 573) was an Albanian prince (1404-1466), who held the Turks at bay for over thirty years.
