ABSTRACT
LITERARY SPECULUM was a small-format, fashionable London monthly magazine that published three volumes in 1821–1823. (A weekly appeared under the same title in 1824.) As with so many of the short-lived periodicals, we know nothing about the editor and contributors to the Literary Speculum. Three reviews of Byron fall within our scope.
