Coleridge, Remorse (1813); Critical Review, 4th Series, III (April 1813), 402–405. De Monfort (p. 402) was a tragedy by Joanna Baillie on the theme of hate. The reviewer seems to have a genuine interest in the theater, and his judgment of Remorse from the theatrical perspective has been vindicated by history.
