ABSTRACT
Daniel Goleman’s book Emotional Intelligence (1995) has, in addition to being a bestseller, formed part of reading lists for business leaders and managers for the last couple of decades. Unfortunately it does not seem to have found its way to all educational leaders, if some of the anecdotes found whilst researching this book are true.
