ABSTRACT
According to social commentator Phil Cooke in Jolt , ‘For better or worse, disruption is the word that best describes 21st century living’ (2011, p. xiii). As teachers we face the disruption of change on a constant basis. There are new technologies, new strategies, and new government policies. Each of these changes causes a disruption – a jolt – to our way of working.
