ABSTRACT
Video games have produced many iconic characters. Duke Nukem forever had many advantages. It was widely anticipated by its own market, helmed by the co-founders of 3D Realms, the creators of the original version, and extremely well-funded. What follows is the Purposeful Play Design Process (PPDP). PPDP requires design thinking an approach to solving design problems by understanding user needs and building insights to solve those needs. The overriding principle of PPDP is that purpose. Your initiative should be grounded in the purpose of the business, and your business should be grounded in purpose. Each new engineer was educated in the programming languages, tools and databases they needed to build applications. They were also coached in an approach we termed the killer question. With the principles of human design, purpose, game elements, killer questions, intrinsicity and sandbox in mind, it's time to follow some key design steps also.
