This island and many of the features mentioned by Broughton in the Korean Archipelago are difficult to identify with any certainty. Without the extreme and we hauled round it WbS. The Channel between the High Island south of them Kamdo and the North shore Kohung Pando was about 2 miles wide, much indented by Bays & many scatter'd Rocky Islands laying in the fair way. Shortly before noon Broughton must have passed close to Kusakaki Gunto, consisting of about seventeen bare and precipitous islets and rocks, without sighting them.
