ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on large scale synthetic collections of such things in one particular system, that being the World Wide Web. It is known that if the quantum environment is made up of a bath' of what are called quantum oscillations, the quantum analogy of many frictionless pendulums, decoherence approaches classicality for all practical purposes. In 1971, physicist Martin Gutzwiller found a way to relate complex, chaotic systems on the classical scale with analogous systems down in the quantum world. Complex chaotic behaviour is well known to create centres of attention, or attraction, and describing such attraction has been one of the greatest achievements of chaos theory. The usual explanation of the Hall Effect involves a magnet being brought close to a wire carrying an electric current. At normal temperatures the Hall Resistance shows the density of electrons in the wire and is therefore important in the design of semiconductor technology.
