ABSTRACT

Project Phase II once again began with an introduction to the Postal Service by the USPS project manager. This was important since new students had joined the team. It provided a background for all those who were not part of Phase I. Further information on the organization and its needs was provided by the USPS manager of the market development group who had brought along a staff member. Roughly a week later, the manager of the DMM group joined the students for a research meeting with a local representative of the Business Mail Entry Units, which produced additional insights into the current relationship between employees and customers.
