ABSTRACT

Third Generation Leadership moves us away from a world of compliance, compulsion and/or conformance. It moves us to a world in which people engage with each other regardless of who they are or where they may be and in which they then engage together in order to achieve whatever performance is desired. Third Generation Leadership is world-centric what should do is good for all people. Third Generation Leadership and 3G Leaders are conscious of this and learn how to manage down their red zones and to manage up their blue zones. They know that by doing this by shifting their brain's locus of control they will not only further develop their own self-confidence but that they help the development of those with whom they interact. Third Generation Leadership is based on engagement. Engagement in a Third Generation Leadership environment is because people are first of all engaged with the leader.
