ABSTRACT

This chapter addresses the addresses The Seven Inconvenient Truths of Business Strategy and also discusses the history of the world-famous confectionery company Cadbury. The strategic plan is the outcome from the next component of the fully integrated Strategic Management Framework strategic planning. The strategic plan is an independent but integral element of the overall system that aligns the firm's long-term strategy with the short term plans method of implementation. The strategic objectives that are contained in the strategic plan and articulated in the strategy blueprint provide the basis for the focus of the strategic plans and by definition the strategy blueprints implementation. The strategy evaluation reviewing and monitoring mechanism is the physical instrument that is used to monitor the implementation of the projects that are identified in the strategic planning process and articulated in the strategic plan itself through the strategy blueprint. Stakeholder engagement is an all-inclusive element of the strategic change agenda and Strategic Management Framework in general.
