ABSTRACT

June 26th 1804 a Boat arrived from Eimeo, by which the miss. learned that the Harrington Capt. Campbell, was at anchor in Opunohu (Taloo) harbour at Eimeo, that she had come from the Colony of N.S. Wales, and bound to the Spanish coast of South America, and that a person was on board from the Miss Society. The miss. learnt that Mr Crook and wife had come from England in the same ship as Mr Caw, but learning in the Colony the uncertain state of affairs in the islands, hesitated about proceeding further, and were now fixed in some situation in the Colony. July 13th the Harrington sailed, the miss. got sundry necessary articles from the Capt. such as a little Tea, sugar, rice, wine &c. and pieces of chintz partly for bartering with the natives hogs.
