ABSTRACT

Having described the four components of the justice model in the Prologue, and their elaboration in the later chapters, reflection on the main content is appropriate. The epilogue is a term from drama and literature and its aim is to tie up loose ends and understand the main characters of the play. I use the term here to describe the main features of the justice model (Demonstration), to sum up its strengths and weaknesses (Evaluation), and to speculate on steps to improve the model (Speculation). The aim of the epilogue is therefore to give the reader an insight into the state-of-the-art of resource allocation theory and research as I see it now.
