ABSTRACT

In the last chapter we highlighted the importance of opening your review, preferably made possible by a strong angle and an introduction that compels the reader to continue. These points are an essential requirement for effective reviewing for good reason, yet their impact is devalued if the rest of the article falls apart because of a weak structure. The kind of framework you choose for your review is at the core of this chapter, along with other important components such as language and developing your voice as a critic, and even the small matter of meeting that deadline.
