ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to review the literature and discuss issues relevant to the inpatient treatment of refractory OCD. First, prior research examining the efficacy of inpatient treatment is reviewed. Clinical indications for inpatient care are then outlined and suggestions for future research are provided.
